I have worked in both banks and private companies on the lending and borrowing sides, so have a deep understanding of markets, objectives and relationships across the industry – with relationships being at the heart of everything I do.
Going from one of Australia’s largest fund managers to a newer, more boutique debt and equity investment manager like Pallas Capital was not necessarily something that I expected to do in my career. However, after spending some time talking to Patrick Keenan and Dan Gallen, and hearing about their passionate and well-supported vision for the business, it was an easy decision for me to get involved. I am very much motivated by a challenge, and by my ability to drive positive outcomes. I’m driven by the energy of a deal – meeting people, settling their objectives, and never sitting on my laurels – and once I understood Patrick and Dan’s vision for Pallas Capital’s business I was absolutely committed to helping them achieve it.
Having been in the lending sector for so long, I know how important it is to have a focus on service, quality and flexibility. I am committed to assisting those who are under-served in the market, and at Pallas Capital our relationships are defined by our market-leading service, which is what drives our customer loyalty and our steadily growing loan book. My belief is that, in the non-bank lending market, our high-quality service; speed to market; and flexibility in assessing and delivering loans is what makes us a first-choice partner for our clients.
At the end of the day, my relationship with my clients is always defined by certainty and reliability, which is critical in enabling brokers to service their clients’ best interests too. I’m looking forward to building Pallas Capital’s reputation as a market-leading lender in the Australian CRE market, along with my team.
I am pleased to officially introduce myself in this new role and looking forward to bringing our competitive products to a greater portion of the market, as well as building Pallas Capital’s lending relationships.
