Can you tell us about yourself and your background?
After completing a Bachelor of Commerce in New Zealand I moved to Sydney in 2000 and gained a wide range of knowledge and experience having been employed by numerous well-known bank and non-bank lenders over 22 years in various roles encompassing Loan Administration, Management and Credit Functions.
How did you come to be part of the Pallas Capital team?
I have known Dan Gallen for many years and when I was looking to relocate to Melbourne, we discussed a role within Pallas Capital, and I leapt at the opportunity.
What does a typical workday look like for you at Pallas Capital?
Day to day I manage the Loan Management and Construction team which currently comprises four staff. The team is responsible for all Loan Administration post initial settlement of each loan including assessment of progress payments and construction loan oversight, general consents, partial and full discharges, and all general loan administration including post settlement conditions subsequent, payments plus portfolio and investor reporting.
What has been your highlight at Pallas Capital so far?
The growth of the business since I started in July 2019. Recruitment of quality new staff.
Ongoing performance and proactive management of the growing loan portfolio with no impairments or monetary defaults.
What are your personal goals for 2022 outside of Pallas Capital?
Complete without injury what will be my last Cricket season before retiring, with goals to win the grand final, score the most runs for my team and the grade. Go fishing more and explore Melbourne and regional Victoria and spend more time with the family.
