A Night of Compassion 2022

In collaboration with Compassion Australia, the team at Pallas Group were pleased to host our annual black-tie charity ball, ‘A Night of Compassion’, on Friday 27th May at Heritage Wharf, Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont.

Now in its third year, the pledge for this year’s event was to raise much needed funds to rebuild Compassion child development centres in Bangladesh that were destroyed during flooding and subsequent landslides in the remote Chittagong Hill Tracts region. By restoring these places of learning, hope and education will be provided for many generations to come.

Well-known Australian comedian, Lehmo, opened the evening followed by guest speaker Tim Mannah of Parramatta Eels and Clare Steele of Compassion Australia, sharing their insights on the amazing work that Compassion Australia does across the world. The entertainment continued throughout the night as guests enjoyed the soulful sounds of renowned jazz musician James Morrison before a live auction led by auctioneer Damien Cooley to raise much needed funds for this year’s pledge.

This year’s Compassion event was a great success with funds donated on Friday evening having well exceeded previous years, with a total of over $400,000 raised.

On behalf of the team at Pallas, we’d like to thank our live auction contributors and proud sponsors listed below for their generosity, and we look forward to doing it all again next year.
