Pallas Capital Sponsors Echoes of Forms Art Exhibition

Pallas Capital is proud to sponsor Echoes of Form, an evocative art exhibition showcasing the works of renowned abstract expressionist painters Jimmy He and Ding Liping. Co-organised by the Australia-Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce and the Shanghai International Cultural Exchange Association, the exhibition officially opened on 16 May at the historic Victorian Artists Society in Melbourne.

The event brought together clients, collaborators and members of the broader arts and business community for an afternoon of cultural appreciation and meaningful connection. It also marked the third anniversary of our Pallas Capital Asian Desk, an initiative dedicated to strengthening ties with investors and partners across the Asia-Pacific region.

This celebration was especially significant for Pallas, as one of the exhibiting artists, Ding Liping, is also a valued investor in our business. His dual role as both artist and supporter made the exhibition a particularly proud moment for our team, highlighting the depth of relationships we aim to cultivate, rooted not only in business, but in shared values and creative ambition.

Known for his lyrical compositions that bridge Eastern and Western traditions, Ding’s work reflects an elegant balance of the tangible and intangible. His brushwork is thoughtful, deliberate, and emotionally resonant. In contrast, fellow artist Jimmy He’s bold, spontaneous approach brings energy and rhythm to the canvas through vibrant palettes and expressive movement. Together, their styles engage in a powerful visual dialogue—each piece inviting viewers to explore the space between form and feeling.

Adding to the celebration, Sarah Vaughan, General Manager of VIC at Fortis, introduced Richmond Square project, Fortis’ latest mixed-use development in Melbourne’s inner east, highlighting Pallas Capital’s role as the project’s financier and our continued investment in high-quality, community-focused design.

At Pallas Capital, we’re committed to supporting cultural initiatives that foster creativity, connection, and cross-cultural understanding. Echoes of Form beautifully reflects this mission, and we thank the artists, organisers and guests for making the opening such a memorable and meaningful occasion.
