Pallas Capital’s Pallas Senior Income Fund has received a renewed four-star ‘High Investment Grade’ rating from SQM Research.
The upheld rating is the result of rigorous assessment across governance, investment processes, portfolio construction, and risk management – highlighting the depth of expertise within the Pallas Capital investment team.

SQM Research reported that the Fund outperformed its peer group and the reference index and its reference index over the assessed period, noting the strength of the Fund’s credit and valuation risk framework and the depth of experience within the investment team. The report also found the Fund’s management fee is 14 basis points lower than the peer group average, contributing to its competitive positioning. SQM Research further highlighted the benefits of the Fund’s exposure to institutional Pool Lenders, which provides additional independent oversight and enhances diversification across the portfolio.
Launched in 2024, the actively managed Pallas Senior Income Fund offers monthly liquidity and income and exposure to asset backed investments through a diversified portfolio of commercial real estate first mortgage assets across Australia and New Zealand.
The firm’s credit underwriting is supported by detailed due diligence on each borrower and the underlying property, realistic and multi-faceted exit strategies and active management by the team throughout the loan term.
