Staff spotlight: Andrew Halstead, Senior Client Services Manager & Partner – Distribution

Can you tell us about yourself and your background?

I’m recently married and a proud father to a two-year-old daughter. I spent over a decade working in the sports industry, primarily across corporate partnerships and operations. Sport has always played a central role in my life, particularly Rugby League, and the relationships I have built through those experiences have allowed me to bring a unique network and perspective into my current roles at Pallas Capital.

How did you come to be part of the Pallas Capital team?

My journey into finance and the business came through a connection with Mark Spring, Executive Director at Pallas. Through that relationship, an exciting opportunity presented itself to join the team and make the pivot into a new industry, one that aligns with my passion for building strong relationships and driving important business outcomes.

What does a typical workday look like for you at Pallas Capital?

As Senior Client Services Manager and Partner – Distribution, no two days are quite the same! My role spans both operations and distribution, which gives me the opportunity to connect with a broad range of stakeholders, from investors and internal teams to executive directors. Each day is underpinned by a focus on delivering value for our clients and driving revenue growth for the business.

What has been your highlight at Pallas Capital so far?

Without a doubt, the highlight for me has been the relationships I’ve built across the business. Coming into the industry without a traditional finance background, I’ve had the privilege of being mentored by some exceptional leaders. The people within the Pallas ecosystem are, in my opinion, the company’s greatest asset, and I’ve really valued the opportunity to learn and grow alongside them.

What are some of your proudest achievements or milestones during your time at Pallas Capital?

Over the past three years, I’ve had the chance to contribute across a number of different areas within the business, which has been incredibly rewarding. One of the highlights was being recognised as a back-to-back Pallas MVP – a meaningful acknowledgment of my contributions and something I’m truly thankful for.

Looking ahead, what are your professional goals and aspirations within Pallas Capital? How do you see yourself contributing to the company’s future success?

I’m really excited about continuing to help the business evolve, both in terms of operational excellence and by expanding our distribution network into new industries and untapped channels. Personally, I’m focused on developing further as a leader within the business. I’ve always had a passion for building relationships and supporting those around me to achieve their goals, and I look forward to playing a part in Pallas’s continued success and helping set a strong standard for others to follow.
