Can you tell us about yourself and your background?
I started my career in real estate sales supporting the principal at a high performing local real estate firm. I loved the property aspect but wanted more from a role and something that would incorporate my finance/law degrees. I made the move into banking, specifically within property finance teams across Westpac and Commonwealth Bank over 10 years where I supported some of SEQ’s most well-known developers. Outside of work I spend my time going on outdoor adventures with my husband and pup Diego.
How did you come to be part of the Pallas Capital team?
I knew a couple of former banking colleagues that had joined Pallas Capital and after meeting with the Group Executive for Origination, I loved the fast-paced and high performing culture at Pallas and appreciated the growing nature of the private credit space and I immediately wanted to be part of this.
What does a typical workday look like for you at Pallas Capital?
A large part of the workday involves meeting and/or speaking with new and existing members in my network to get them up to speed on Pallas appetite settings, understanding their/their clients’ strategies and discussing opportunities on how we can work together on deals. The balance is made up of discussions with internal stakeholders to ensure we’re identifying all risks, structuring deals to manage this and presenting a compelling funding solution and building a strong brand reputation in the market.
What has been your highlight at Pallas Capital so far?
My highlight at Pallas Capital has been working with our small but highly driven and talented Brisbane team to build our brand and pipeline in the Brisbane market and seeing just how dynamic and commercial we can be in supporting clients on executing on their strategies that I wouldn’t otherwise be able to help with in the banking space. The commercial and collaborative approach to doing business is refreshing.
What are some of your proudest achievements or milestones during your time at Pallas Capital?
With the support of the broader team, we have made great progress in Brisbane having built some great relationships and reinvigorated old ones, expanded our team, settled a good level of transactions and built a strong pipeline as we head into FY26. I’m proud of this progress although there is always so much more room to grow and the company is constantly working on new and exciting strategies and products to better service our clients.
Looking ahead, what are your professional goals and aspirations within Pallas Capital? How do you see yourself contributing to the company’s future success?
It’s an exciting time for the SEQ market leading up to the 2032 Olympics and I feel Pallas Capital is well-equipped to support on the investment and project opportunities that property players from Queensland and beyond are going to be capitalising on during this time. I plan on I continuing to build out my client, broker and referrer network, deepening these relationships and promoting the Pallas Capital brand to ensure we’re always amongst the first few lenders to be considered on these opportunities.
