Can you tell us about yourself and your background?
I am the Senior Project Manager of Technology for Pallas Capital, responsible for the implementation and support of all technology applications across the business.
Prior to joining Pallas Capital, I had over 20 years of experience implementing numerous trading/risk systems for major banks and commodity traders. I’ve worked in a variety of roles across market risk, operations and trading systems consulting.
How did you come to be part of the Pallas Capital team?
It’s a little unconventional. I was actually an early investor with Pallas Capital. I liked what they were doing so much, I knew I had join the company.
What does a typical workday look like for you at Pallas Capital?
My primary focus is automation of operations. This means using technology to drive the continued improvement of our business processes in terms of speed, quality/accuracy and user experience for our staff, investors and borrowers.
Achieving this involves working closely with the wider team to understand their existing business processes, pain points and then sponsoring technology initiatives to improve their productivity.
What has been your highlight at Pallas Capital so far?
Working with amazing people and a similarly amazing organisational culture.
I believe this is the Pallas Capital point of competitive advantage.
What are your personal goals for 2022 outside of Pallas Capital?
I’m currently building a new custom-design house which will be my family’s ‘forever home’.
It’s a lot of hard work, but very exciting.
