An evening at Neil Perry’s Song Bird

On Tuesday, 10 September, we had the pleasure of hosting over 100 valued clients, making them among the first to experience Neil Perry’s latest venture, Song Bird, located in the recently repositioned 24 Bay Street, Double Bay.

Guests were treated to a tasting menu personally crafted by Neil and his team, setting the tone for an evening of excellent cuisine. During the event, Neil shared the inspiration behind Song Bird, highlighting the journey that led him to Bay Street. He emphasised the importance of the heritage-listed staircase inside the Neville Gruzman building—a striking feature that connects each level of the restaurant and the element that captivated him most. Neil expressed his excitement about continuing to refine the restaurant, positioning Song Bird as a future go-to destination alongside the much-loved Margaret.

Patrick Keenan, Executive Chairman, spoke about Pallas Capital and Fortis’ ongoing commitment to revitalising Double Bay, underscoring the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality developments. He also noted the significance of partnerships with top-tier hospitality icons like Neil Perry in enhancing the area’s appeal.

The evening was a resounding success, filled with good food and great company. It also provided us with an opportunity to express our gratitude to those who have been integral to Pallas Capital’s success. We look forward to forging new partnerships and continue our shared journey of growth.
