Can you tell us about yourself and your background?
I’m a proud wife and mother to three young daughters, and I love spending time with family and friends. When I’m not juggling work and family life, which is typically spent rotating soccer fields in hope that one of our daughters in future will deliver Matildas dividends — you’ll usually find me at the gym chasing fitness goals or at the beach. I strive to be a good human by staying positive and balanced by creating a life filled with love, laughter, good health, and ambition.
I’m equally passionate about building a successful career while keeping my family at the heart of everything I do. I have over 20 years experience within financial markets operations, having held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, HSBC and JPMorgan. I enjoy navigating complex operational dynamics, building and maintaining strong client relationships, optimising processes, and providing strategic leadership to drive organisational success.
How did you come to be part of the Pallas Capital team?
This story goes back to 2008. At the time, I was managing the operations team at BGC Partners in Sydney and was asked to move to Hong Kong to expand my role and take on the region. Mark Spring and Craig Bannister, among some others who are now part of the Pallas Capital distribution team, were also working for BGC during that period. Fast forward to 2025, Mark reached out to catch up and see where my career was heading. That led to meeting the Pallas Capital team, and it quickly became clear that the opportunity aligned perfectly with my experience and aspirations. The rest is history, as they say.
What does a typical workday look like for you at Pallas Capital?
No two days are the same, and I genuinely mean that. My day typically starts at 5:07am with a quick email check (a habit I don’t recommend), followed by a 5:30am gym class. I then race home to get ready for work and spend about 45 minutes in “mum-mode” before driving to the Pallas Capital Manly office in complete silence — my version of meditation. The goal is to arrive by 8am, although that doesn’t always go to plan, especially when miss 13 can’t find her school shoes and miss 10 and 10 (twins) suddenly need raincoats for a school excursion “today”. A quick stop at the shops takes priority.
As Head of Operations, my role is diverse. I manage people, processes, policies, clients, technology, and more. This variety is what I have always loved about operations. It encourages curiosity, creativity, and constant problem-solving. The freedom to collaborate across business units, drive strategic initiatives, and innovate means you are fortunate to see positive change delivered across the organisation.
What has been your highlight at Pallas Capital so far?
The people and culture, no doubt! I actually enjoy coming to work. The freedom to live and work on the Northern Beaches after 25 years in the city, has been a welcomed change for work-life balance. Turning up to an office where everyone greets you with a smile, knows your family and supports you, is truly refreshing. Together with learning a different side of finance — non-bank lending, and private credit — I am thoroughly enjoying the change.
It has been energising to apply my operational experience in a new context, deepen my understanding of alternative credit markets, and work closely with teams who are innovative, collaborative, and outcomes-focused. The exposure to new products, structures, and ways of thinking has been both challenging and rewarding, and it reinforces why this transition has been such a positive and fulfilling next chapter in my career.
What are some of your proudest achievements or milestones during your time at Pallas Capital?
Culturally, I am proud of the focus I have put on embedding myself into the business as quickly as possible, taking the time to genuinely get to know people across teams and understand how we work together day-to-day. A key priority has been to actively contribute to and strengthen the culture of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication, while supporting the business through ongoing change management. Building trust, encouraging cross-functional engagement, and fostering a shared sense of ownership have been central to this approach.
In parallel, I’ve been very focused on identifying and delivering quick wins. This has included implementing a number of minor, yet meaningful operational enhancements, streamlining processes, clarifying ownership, and addressing inefficiencies, that have collectively driven a significant positive impact. These changes have improved operational effectiveness, reduced friction, and created a stronger foundation for scalable and sustainable operations.
Looking ahead, what are your professional goals and aspirations within Pallas Capital? How do you see yourself contributing to the company’s future success?
When I accepted this role, the intention was always to make my move to Pallas Capital a genuinely long‑term decision. While it’s still early days, that belief has only been reinforced. I joined with a clear intention to commit and grow alongside the business, and everything I have experienced so far, has further strengthened that decision. There’s a significant amount for me to learn, both about the organisation and the broader private credit landscape, and that learning curve is something I am deeply motivated by and genuinely excited to embrace.
As I continue to expand my remit across Pallas Capital, a key focus is ensuring that strong cross-collaboration and engagement remain embedded as core values. I believe sustainable success comes from teams working openly and collectively, sharing insights, aligning priorities, and building solutions together. Alongside this, the ongoing development of our strategic operational architecture and the design of scalable, sustainable operating models are of critical importance as we grow. Establishing strong foundations now, through clear ownership, risk mitigation, efficient processes and fit-for-purpose frameworks, will not only support current operations but also enable the business to scale confidently, responsibly, and with long-term compliance and resilience front of mind.
